FEATURED RANGER: SFC (Ret.) Cory Remsburg

“I wanted to be surrounded by the best when things got difficult.” – SFC (Ret.) Cory Remsburg

“Scot always pushed himself physically and mentally to the limits. He knew Rangers were the elite soldiers of the military and he wouldn’t have it any other way. “

Featured Ranger: SGT (Ret.) Tom Block

“When I was afforded the opportunity to try out for the 75th Ranger Regiment by my Drill Sergeant during Basic Training, I seized the opportunity. I wanted to become a part of something special and purposeful.”

“After the attacks on 11 September I wanted to be a part of a unit that consistently brought the fight directly to the enemy and held higher standards than the conventional forces.”

FEATURED RANGER: SGT (Ret.) Joshua Hargis

“I not only wanted to challenge myself physically and mentally, but I wanted to prove to myself that I belonged among the most elite soldiers in the world.”

The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence is awarded to the members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness. Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 percent, meet or exceed these standards, and, of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this seal.
