LTWF Hosts Private Screening of “Toy Story 4” for the Families of 1/75

LTWF Hosts Private Screening of “Toy Story 4” for the Families of 1/75

With harsh training cycles and long deployments, it’s been challenging for Ranger families to spend quality time together. Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund was thrilled to be able to help spread some cheer and family bonding by sponsoring a private showing of Toy Story 4 for the the families of the 1st Ranger Battalion. The day was made even more complete with door prizes, giveaways, photo booth, movie snacks and tons of enthusiasm for Woody & Buzz!

We look forward to being able to help create more wonderful memories like this for all of our Ranger families who give so much to our great Nation and ask for nothing in return!

75th Anniversary of D-Day – Rangers at Pointe du Hoc

75th Anniversary of D-Day – Rangers at Pointe du Hoc

#Rangers from the 75th Ranger Regiment climbed the cliffs of Pointe du Hoc June 5 in honor of the Rangers of #WorldWarII

The U.S. Army Rangers tackled some of the toughest missions of World War II and became combat legends. These Rangers set the standards for what we all aspire to and they showed us what was possible. Modern Rangers stand on the shoulders of these great men.

Welcome Home SGT (Ret.) Tom Block

Dear Friends of Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund,

I wanted to take this brief opportunity to let you know that on May 16, 2019 Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund, along with our partner Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors, had the privilege of presenting SGT (Ret.) Tom Block with the keys to his custom built, completely accessible and mortgage-free home in Derry, New Hampshire.  It was a very exciting day for Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund and the Block Family.

In 2014, Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund was introduced to Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors, who joined us on this incredible journey when we first collaborated to present SFC (Ret.) Cory Remsburg with his state-of-the-art home. It is our continued hope that, together, these Homes that Heal provide our Rangers and their families with the comfort, sense of stability, and, most of all, independence they deserve for their sacrifices.

We are within a few weeks of breaking ground on a home in Florida for SGT (Ret.) Travis Dunn who was paralyzed on a mission in Afghanistan in December 2014.

As you can see, we are quite busy here at Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund and are only picking up steam ensuring that the needs of our Ranger families do not go unmet. We are incredibly grateful for all of the support and involvement you have shown us through the years and are able to make things happen for them because of your continued dedication.

We could not do any of this without you and your unwaivering support.  From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.

Rangers Lead The Way!

Ranger Community Mourns SFC Ethan Carpenter

Ranger Community Mourns SFC Ethan Carpenter

It is with such deep sadness and a heavy heart to share this news about SFC Ethan Carpenter. We at Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund had the pleasure of spending time with Ethan when he volunteered to come to NYC two years ago for Jimmy’s Run and Gold Star Memorial to honor his Fallen comrades, stand sentry to their portraits and support their families.

He was a wonderful person, husband and father and an incredible Ranger. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Chana, his daughter Cecila and all of the Ranger Community during this tragic time.

God Bless you SFC Carpenter! You will never be forgotten.
