Santa Day with Lead The Way

A great time was had by children and parents alike at the 1st Annual Santa Day with Lead The Way hosted for the families of the 75th Ranger Regiment in Fort Benning.

It was great to see pictures and hear of all the smiles brought to the children’s faces as they played in bounce houses, did crafts and had a special visit from Santa himself.  We look forward to doing it again next year!

* In order to qualify for a slot each participant will be required to meet a minimum fundraising goal of $750. Should you not make your fundraising minimum you will be personally responsible for the difference.

NorthFace Endurance Challenge Series

Hello Friends & Supporters of Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund!

It is with great pleasure to announce that we will be participating in the 2016 North Face® Endurance Challenge Series again and have been invited to expand our presence to include ALL race locations on their tour including New York, Washington D.C., Utah and Wisconsin. This series is the ultimate in Trail Racing and a great opportunity for those of you looking to challenge yourself or change it up a bit!

By racing with Team Army Ranger, discounted slots in all cities are available for Half-Marathon, Marathon, and Marathon Relay (which consists of teams of 2 to 4 people). For you Ultra-Marathoners slots are also available for the 50K and the GORE-TEX 50 Mile races.

See below for all race locations and dates.  You can click on the city for more information on the race and times.

The North Face Endurance Challenge returns to Algonkian Regional Park, Great Falls Park and the Potomac Heritage Trail. The course keeps runners on their toes with ever-changing terrain. The course consists of mainly single and double track with a few spots of carriage road in the mix.

April 30TH – May 1ST

A hardy test for trail runners of any level, The North Face Endurance Challenge New York winds along the western shores of the Hudson River and through the craggy foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Expect enough rocks and challenging terrain along the course to keep you engaged, but not enough to prevent you from running the majority of the race.

September 17TH – 18TH

An ideal course layout for elite speedsters and those taking their first strides in the world of ultra trail running, The Endurance Challenge Wisconsin course is run-able from start to finish, provided that you’ve trained properly. A large portion of the course takes place on the renowned Ice Age Trail located 60 miles southeast of Madison in the southern reaches of the picturesque Kettle Moraine State Park.

September 24TH – 25TH

The North Face Endurance Challenge Series’ expansion into the “mountain” region of the United States at Park City Mountain Resort, is located 20 miles outside of Salt Lake City. This race course will not only start at the highest elevation within the North America series at 7,000 feet but it will also climb to the highest elevation of 10,000 feet. The North Face Endurance Challenge cruises along the Wasatch Back, part of the Wasatch Mountain Range in the resort destination of Park City. Athletes will navigate this world-renowned ski destination using a mix of double and single track trail, ski runs, mountain bike trails and various dirt access roads. Bring your lungs and legs and be prepared to be awestruck.

  • Please email racing@leadthewayfund.org with your interest in joining Team Army Ranger for any of these races. Please also specify which event you are interested in.
  • Please be advised that all racers MUST commit to meeting minimum Lead The Way Fund fundraising requirements set at $500 for the Marathon and Half- Marathon and $750 for the Marathon Relay Team.
