The Fund was created in honor of Sgt. James J. Regan, who died in February, 2007. In the few short months since Sgt. Regan was killed in a roadside bombing in Northern Iraq, this Fund has been established in recognition that returning soldiers, many wounded and disabled need help putting their bodies and their lives back together.
